Error: Can't have a partition outside the disk!

Hi ppl,

As detailed in this (http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=162035)
bug, libparted is unable to create a diskobject with ped_disk_new()
which bails out with: "Error: Can't have a partition outside the disk!"

It would be great if someone could take a look at it, I have gathered
some info already, so most of what you need should be in that bug.
