Thanks! I found out this same version out there somewhere else but 
wasn't able to compile it (see error below)
and I thought it could be not the latest release or some kind of 
unofficial packages so I went back to search and then told myself that 
it could be a nice to get this project back on track.

Maybe gnu.org is waiting for developper to authentificate files or 
somethings ?!

Is this anything relate to gcc's version ? (using debian with gcc 3.3 to
