You can get the 1.6.6 tarball from the upstream debian tarball for
example, i guess the *BSD ports also maintain a copy. Anyway, the debian
tarball is at :
http://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/p/parted/parted_1.6.6.orig.tar.gz
Or on any other mirror.
But again, this is another point where the creation of a savanah project
or something such would be helpfull. I propose myself to ask for the
creation of either a savanah project or an alioth project, which would
offer us the added flexibility of a subversion repository.
