I am still working with parted 1.6.5, as i was not able to get any other
source, and the debian package is still that version, and the gnu ftp
site seems to not have yet recovered from the intrusion when parted is
concerned.

I have not yet made further progress, in what concerns the amiga
filesystems, since you didn't give me the green light concerning the
adding of a PedPartition pointer to the geometry structure.

But i have had various testing of the code done, and had people test it
for me, and it seems that the filesystem creation (ext2) is still broken
(well, it does nothing when i try to make an ext2 filesystem on top of a
amiga partition). Also, tentatives to create, copy and resize ext2
partitions on a mac partitioned disk seemed to fail miserably, letting
the disk in a bad state.

Are these supposed to work ? Is this fixed in 1.6.6 or later ? Do you
even test this code on partition tables not x86 ?
