Hi,
Actually I'm using RH-8.0 on all my 40Gb HDD. I need
to install back win98 so I need to create a small
partition (about 3 Gb) for win. I never used parted
before. Here is what I get:
Information: The operating system thinks the geometry
on /dev/hda is
4866/255/63. Therefore, cylinder 1024 ends at
8032.499M.
(parted)
(parted) p
Disk geometry for /dev/hda: 0.000-38172.750 megabytes
Disk label type: msdos
Minor Start End Type Filesystem
Flags
1 0.031 101.975 primary ext3
boot
2 101.975 37660.188 primary ext3
3 37660.188 38170.063 primary linux-swap
(parted)
I think I have to create the win partition before the
1024th cylinder..? Can anyone help me how to do that?
Thank you for your help!
Eric
