Hello!
My object is to install Spectra Linux to my
brand-new computer. Operating system is Windows XP Home Edition and file system
FAT32. Hard disc is Maxtor 4R080L0 (80GB) with two partitions: C 74,34
gigas (cluster size 32 kb) and D about 2 gigas (for Linux). I will reserve for
Linux 6 GBs in all.
I tried first of all to arrange more space for
Linux by shrinking C with parted, but I got an error message:
The FATs aren't big enough to describe all
clusters! Each FAT is 19032 sectors. There are 2436514 clusters, which would
require each FAT to be 19036 sectors.
Print-command returned:

My shrinking command was resize 1

I don't understand what the error message means.
How can I proceed? Please, help me!
