Excellent!  The hope for 2.5.x kernel was to remove all partition code and
do this from user space.  This makes that very very easy, and very very
possible.    I was hoping that Parted would be that tool.  No more trying to
keep multiple implementations of partition discovery up-to-date.  :-)
