Subject: | If it can backup and restore Linux Native Partition |
Date: | Thu, 18 Jan 2001 13:47:39 +0800 |
Dear Sir,
I'm a linux freshhand. Now, I have a project on Linux which is to make it simple for Linux installation. (For fixed hardware).
My idea is backup the Linux Native partition (if it also need for Linux SWAP) on CD. Then restore them to the hard disk.
If it is suitable to use parted and how to realize it.
This will included below step:
1. Startup with CD;
2. fdisk to make a Linux Native and SWAP partition;
3. Restore data to Linux Native
4. Run Lilo
Would you please give me more guidance for above operation.
Thanks
FanGang
