Yes.  Basically, I want a system that is easy for me to maintain,
and is easy to modify.  So, perhaps I should recommend a
distribution's rescue disks, and just provide an image for a second
root disk.

Also, with a second disk, there would be room for more fancy stuff,
like internationalization, readline, etc.

I can't think of anything obvious.  At that size, you don't need
to grow the group descriptors.  I can't think of anything special
about 3070Mb (or 384 block groups)

Would you be able to compile with debug info, and send me the
core? (!!!)
