So if there is anyone out there with commit privileges to oleo, maybe they would like to contact me, and we can discuss a way forward in getting oleo to compile. It would be way cool to get people interested in Oleo again. I seem to remember having it on my Amiga many many years ago.
Neoleo is my hacky attempt at forking Oleo, and I'm sure not up to GNU coding standards. But it does incorporate some cool things: it has an embedded Forth in it. I am currently working on giving it a headless mode (not committed yet), making it a bit like a cross between ed with the programmability of emacs (OK, not that powerful, and with Forth instead of Lisp) but for spreadsheets. Eventually I hope to make it usable within a UNIX pipeline. So really, despite its humbleness, it should have the kind of power that other spreadsheets cannot replicate.
