Yesterday I read a wonderful entry by Stephen Downes that linked me to yet another fascinating entry by Will Richardson. Since I am of the opinion that moments like these are the gateway to learning itself, I will attempt to connect to their insights.
At first glance, it seems that the word learning is used synonymously with education and less frequently with training. Part of the issue is that our definition of disease must be expanded.
No one I am aware of can articulate the precise relationship that is imagined to exist between schooling and learning or training and learning.
This can most clearly be seen is the proliferation of prescription medication.
But, for a diver who has a long-term interest in the sport, purchasing dive gear is a viable option. Listed below are a series of questions that I have initially created to begin thinking along these lines.
It also helps to retrieve some of the more magical qualities of learning in the moments of quiet awe and wonder we experience at times in our life. Here's what you need to know to get started. Too often I see the idea of learning discussed as if it were the exclusive domain of educationalists or corporate idealists.
Dispersal of weight is the key to comfortable weighting. But it now appears his trip to the mainland was planned. This can most clearly be seen is the proliferation of prescription medication. That is, the school is an institution for enquiry-based research in which both teachers and students are actively engaged in pursuing personally motivating and individualized investigations. The learning required centres on finding equilibrium between reactive medical intervention and proactive development of health.
There is, of course, benefit in these perspectives, but left unto themselves they are incomplete and isolated. The underlying assumption I sense in the document is that enquiry is a process closely linked to research, and the paper decribes and extends the popular idea of students and teachers as researchers. His article is enhanced by the quick insight of Hugh McLeod at Gaping Void.

No one I am aware of can articulate the precise relationship that is imagined to exist between schooling and learning or training and learning. Both Stephen and Will describe, in personal terms, a sense of reinvention that is occurring in their lives.
Perhaps it is the entrance of a new year retrieves a deep inner sense of reflection in people, a sense of reflection that inspires an individual to question their journey in life. As Lisa points out in her wonderful title to entry, beauty can and does from tragedy.
On the surface, a tag is a word that is used as a label to group and categorize content that is perceived to have something in common.

We assume a connection exists, but the nature of that relationship is illusive. When we invoke learning we summon ourselves into action or make an attempt to bring something new to us into existence.
He suggests that we face a critical issue when it comes to our health and well being, that is, we have learned a lot about how to treat illness but not much about how to create health.
This brings the idea of a practical philosophy of learning into question - the key words being into question.

This can most clearly be seen is the proliferation of prescription medication. The idea of spirit orients us toward exploring the source of energy and therefore the source of authority in learning. Part of the issue is that our definition of disease must be expanded.
Here's what you need to know to get started.
