I don't know about the GTK stuff. I agree with the comments within this
thread. Tcl is worth building on. CK is building on Tcl with Tk as a model.
But moving to the object features of incrTcl and "mega" widgets makes X-GUI
building a pleasure. A similar curses-GUI building environment makes sense.
The capabilities of Tcl should not need to consume so much X real estate.
