I'd say to define __EXTENSIONS__, but see that it's done. Sun's compiler
doesn't mind the declaration, which is in stdio.h:
#if defined(__STDC__)
#if defined(__EXTENSIONS__) || defined(_REENTRANT)
extern char *tmpnam_r(char *);
#endif /* defined(__EXTENSIONS__) || defined(_REENTRANT) */
#if defined(__EXTENSIONS__) || (__STDC__ == 0 && \
!defined(_XOPEN_SOURCE) && !defined(_POSIX_C_SOURCE))
extern void setbuffer(FILE *, char *, size_t);
extern int setlinebuf(FILE *);
/*
* These v*scanf functions are part of the C99 standard. At such
* time that the standard is fully implemented, these functions
* will be moved to iso/stdio_iso.h.
*/
extern int vfscanf(FILE *, const char *, __va_list);
extern int vscanf(const char *, __va_list);
extern int vsscanf(const char *, const char *, __va_list);
#endif
