URL: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?40610> Summary: gmake 4.0 loops rebuilding included makefiles Project: make Submitted by: None Submitted on: Sun 17 Nov 2013 04:56:26 PM UTC Severity: 3 - Normal Item Group: Bug Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Component Version: 4.0 Operating System: POSIX-Based Fixed Release: None Triage Status: None _______________________________________________________ Details: When working on a sufficiently fast volume (apparently) the attached makefile loops forever rerunning the recipe for objdir/depend.mk. I have seen this using tmpfs on NetBSD; I don't know if it happens on other ramdisk-type fses. It does not occur with gmake 3.82 so I doubt it's a bug in the fs, though. See http://gnats.netbsd.org/48385 for the downstream bug report. _______________________________________________________ File Attachments: ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Sun 17 Nov 2013 04:56:26 PM UTC Name: Makefile Size: 161B By: None <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/download.php?file_id=29642> _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?40610> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
