I checked in the beginning of a fix for the ncurses/curses problem.
That detection isn't hard, but trying to correctly detect whether
readline needs curses or not gave me grief. Sadly, I'm at a windows
terminal, so I'm inclined to hack it as little as I can get away with.
When I get back from my wedding, I'll take up that problem and fix it.
In the meantime, it tests for ncurses, and if it can't find that falls
back to curses. Anyone know if it should try termcap? =)
With this fix (and two others that I checked in) SCO Openserver now
compiles without extra fussing around.
Tks,
Jeff Bailey
