Hi all
while translating this chapter I've come across this sentence:
"""
A new bar is never started within a cadenza, even if one or more \bar
commands are inserted within it. Therefore, reminder accidentals will
need to be added manually. See Accidentals.
c4 d e d
\cadenzaOn
cis4 d cis d
\bar "|"
cis4 d cis! d
\cadenzaOff
\bar "|"
"""
I'm not sure what this sentence wants to demonstrate. The previous
sentence has already explained that bar numbering is suspended during a
cadenza. It looks like this example wants to say that a bar won't be
_printed_ inside a cadenza even if you write it explicitely (\bar "|").
But I see that the bar is printed in the example above.
So what's the point of that sentence?
If the goal is showing that bar numbering is still suspended even if a
bar is manually added, I suggest to make all bar numbers visible in
order to make it clear.
Thanks
