I would guess it exercises them, but does not do a comparison since
there is nothing to compare with.

It may be intentional to just show the results that are present in both
test runs (and the test baseline can't include tests that are not part
of its version and might make it fail, anyway).  Since the results are
intended for human consumption, however, it would likely be nice if they
were at least shown (and the left side kept blank with just the
information "test not present" or something).
