Midi-related files have been popping up in all the times I run make check  
recently, particularly partcombine-midi.ly and a handful of logs. This  
happens even with issue 1605 which seems to have nothing whatever to do  
with the midi infrastructure.  Git status doesn't show anything, and git  
pull -r is my breakfast routine. Before testing a patch, I am religious  
about updating source, make, make test, make test-baseline, git apply the  
patch, make check.  Am I missing something or do others have the same  
problem?
