There is no function call_context_property_on_children.  There is no  
evaluation of "the function" (by which you probably mean SCM fun), just a  
call of it.  I have no idea what you mean by "returns the new list".  What  
list?  I have no idea what you mean by "the evaluated function": the  
function is called with each different context of the context hierarchy in  
turn.  Since it has a different context for each call, one can't evaluate  
the call in advance.

Put differently: I can't make head nor tail out of your comment.  I don't  
understand any sentence in it, actually not even any sentence part.

Perhaps you'd like to sketch some pseudo-code?  Hopefully I stand a better  
chance of understanding your proposal from that.
