-b Gone? |

Has the -b flag (that is, backend) in terminal execution of lilypond
been removed? I tried the following (found in the Two-Pass Vertical
Spacing section of the manual) for the zillionth time and got a
unique result to .16:
spamguy:~/projects/x spamguy$ /Users/spamguy/LilyPond.app/Contents/
Resources/bin/./lilypond -b null -d dump-tweaks x.ly
/Users/spamguy/LilyPond.app/Contents/Resources/bin/lilypond:
unrecognized option: `-b'
If it's gone, it's quite a big undocumented change...there are a lot
of spots in the manual that need mention of -b dropped. Was it
replaced with -dbackend?
'Course, if -b isn't supposed to be gone, that's a big big bug!
I have to smile and remember
when you accuse me of that smell
