I am working on a Mac (OSX 10.4).

There are several ways to install lilypond on OSX and I chose the
Fink-sourceforge version. However, this is only version 2.2.6.

The other option is to download an image file, which contains
lilypond version 2.9.20-1. This is a little more convenient but
has the disadvantage that you cannot use the terminal to insert
comands. So, "lilypond-book ..." does not work with this application.

Is there a way to tell the maintainer to update the package at
sourceforge? This might be the easiest way, since this package
should in any case be updated regularely.
