Ok, it was a bit vague. I was thinking that the property "ragged-last-bottom" only had an effect on the last score of a book. The effect that the "ragged-last-bottom" has is to modify the spacing of the last page of a score.
Regardless, it would be nice if we could modify the spacing of the final page of \scores in a \book.
I've not tried the new "sectionning" feature from recent development version, but isn't it supposed to do that?
The "spacing section" stuff? I believe that they only modify the horizontal spacing, and are called within a piece.
