I like the way ghostery does it, which does draw into the content -- but you can click it to have it go away, and it will go away on its own after a few seconds.
The place where it draws in the content (upper right of the window) is close to the ghostery icon on the navigation bar, so it is reasonably obvious for me as user where I need to click to open ghostery again if I missed its warnings.
I personally would like to see LibreJS behave a bit more like that. -- Kuno.
