A significant number of the participants thought their job was to teach the other person what to do. I'm thinking of calling these activities "thought exercises" as opposed to "moving-the-project-forward activities" but I don't really like that either. If you like the phrase mental masturbation, let me know that too.
But audits are about compliance, which means they tend to blame people.
I won't know if we've done enough preparation until too late.
I'm afraid it sounds a bit blaming.
Sometimes they need some hand-holding to start and then I need to quickly back away. I'm afraid it sounds a bit blaming. It will either be too optimistic or too pessimistic, and I won't know which one until October. And I am very happy we've gotten here.
But it's my job to understand the system of development, not look for compliance to the process.
Unfortunately I have absolutely no knowledge of ancient languages. I'm in the write-it-down phase right now.
If I miss mid-October, I have no writing time until almost the middle of November. I was stunned to think that anyone would think an email notification of a layoff was acceptable.
