2.2.6 is the version I'm using. I just got the RPM from RH 7.2 (which
doesn't include any of the README files etc btw :/), and checked the main
gnu ftp site (where I didn't get in) and a local mirror (which had 2.2.6 as
latest version).

BTW, as an unrelated side-note, the docs said ident wasn't good at format-
ting C++ code, but I did manage the format some Java code pretty well (it
made a few mistakes at some places thou)). YMMV I guess? :)
