Ok I committed a variant of it (I moved the rump kernel userspace bits into
rumpuser_port.h). Please check if NetBSD HEAD now works for your use case.
Well I'm glad to say I just tested, and current CVS HEAD builds correctly on
GNU/Hurd now.
I'm also happy to apply a patch where MAXPATHLEN/PATH_MAX/MAXHOSTNAMELEN is
removed from the rump kernel userspace code, if you (or someone else) want to
send one in another PR.
I think that would be nice having, but unfortunately I lack the spare time at
the moment. CCing bug-hurd in case someone is interested.
