Uh, argl, argl… ARGH!

That means, I could have installed a Hurd on my OLPC all along!

The list of things I still need to use the Hurd for my everyday tasks just
shrunk by 33%: Only Wireless and Sound are missing (since I moved most of my
work on the OLPC into emacs anyway).

And Sound is secondary, while for much of my productive work WLAN can be
substituted with plugging the system-USB-stick into my main computer and
synchronizing my Mercurial repos.

Why didn’t I ever think of asking „can I boot Hurd from USB-stick“?
