No names were called, and the GSoC is about getting into the community. So the
community should know what happens.

It already happens at times that people who don’t lurk on IRC (don’t count me,
my program logs, but I don’t have the time to lurk) miss quite some
information.

And if someone is frustrated, he should speak up. The IRC meetings aren’t
private, so everything which happens there is public and can be discussed. If
someone doesn’t come to the public (and logged) meeting, that information
isn’t classified or anything.

And Olaf as mentor getting frustrated is important information everyone in
this list should know!

So I don’t think he went anywhere near harrassment or anything. On the
contrary: He didn’t call any names but instead just stated what frustrates him
and asked if there was a problem with the time slot. And I personally think
it’s good that he said it (well, you likely guessed as much from the rest of
my post :) ). I wouldn’t like to stay in the dark and suddenly be surprised
when someone stops out of frustration.

Best wishes,
Arne
