This is also a project where someone may want to work on, if Hurd
translators / servers in other programming languages than C are desired
(and without directly importing the already-existing the C-language Hurd
libraries by using some ``foreign function interface'' or however that's
called).
The only thing in this area I know about (and which is taking the latter
FFI approach, as it seems) is John Tobey's PITH -- ``Perl Interface To
the Hurd'', <http://www.nongnu.org/hurdextras/#pith>.
