Details:

On a Hurd system we currently have both `sync' (from GNU coreutils) and
`syncfs' (from GNU Hurd), whereas the former provides only a subset of the
fuctionality of the latter.

In my opinion, they should be merged, having `syncfs' be absorbed into
coreutils's `sync'.

This, of course, needs to be discussed with <bug-coreutils@gnu.org>.
