I assume this patch won't make it into CVS, but it a save workaround. The
possible solution of the problem has been discussed before. Roland proposed a
fix but Thmoas did not agree. When I asked why not Thomas said he already
proposed a solution

I can't find this solution anywhere. Thomas can you point me to this mail?
Does someone else know a better solution to the fatfs problem?
After this lock has been fixed I can easely fix write support for fatfs I think.
