Hi,
All *nix operating systems that I have checked, Tru64, Solaris 6, Linux and
FreeBSD, all define the mount system call to mount and unmount devices.
My reading tells me that this was present in both early bsd and system V.
This system call is used by programs such as those in the e2fsprogs suite.
What is the correct way to go about fixing these programs:
1) Convincing the maintainers that they should accept a patch to detect
mount / umount or fshelp.h
2) Creating wrappers that use fshelp.h
3) Other
Thanks,
-Neal
