Dear Paul,
I need your help, I'm having problem to uncompress my file as like the example below under SUN Solaris, I'm using gunzip 1.2.4 (18 Aug 93) and also gunzip 1.3.3-patch.1 but if using application under windows such as winzip it's work ok. What's wrong whit my gunzip? Do you have list history gunzip version from 1.2.4 until now?
Really appreciate your help.

SunOS jaws66 5.8 Generic_117350-19 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Blade-1000
Error report:
gunzip: 040204-CII_2002.bkup.gz: invalid compressed data--format violated
