It took me some time to build it successfully, but I succeeded
eventually. Many (but not all) of the changes I needed to build it
are already committed to the stable branch of Guile and in gnulib.

I've built the 2.0.11 release; never tried HEAD or snapshot.

You can find both sources (already patched, with the patches shown in
the DIFFS file), and the precompiled binaries here:

What you see there is a 32-bit build, so if you want a 64-bit build,
you'd need to patch the sources and build it yourself (and probably
struggle with more problems ;-).
