I would like to help to add Khmer support, if possible. I have access to existing lessons that should be relatively easy to convert into a format that GNU Typist supports. I do not know the status of the lessons themselves (whether or not they could be distributed, or not), but they come with the free Khmer Unicode Typing 1.6.0 application. I could look into seeing if those materials can be licensed GNU for this purpose, as I am thinking the authors might not mind, as the existing app isn't proprietary / used for making money (Khmer OS project).
As I am unfamiliar with the gtypist formats, is there someone interested in helping write this script? Or, would someone be willing to give me some pointers on how to write such a script?
