Thanks again for the custom SGD.  I won't be needing another because I
finally got around to figuring out how to compile the GRUB myself.  The
revised builtins.c is attached with the new code for partnewbeta.  This one
includes BOTH bug patches that I had requested.  It has been thoroughly
tested and validated OK to my own satisfaction.

It also includes epteditalpha which has a runtime error: "Error 23: Error
while parsing number.".  Debugging now.

Please excuse my delay in compiling that code for myself.  I have been in
the Windows and Mainframe worlds for many years.  I never used Linux until
about a week ago.  I have Debian installed now, but it has many problems due
to errors reading the CD's during the installation.
