Since early 2000, I've been working on my own software
(http://fig.org/figure/), with the intent of using it to give Grub an
extension language. It is occupying nearly all of my free software
time, and I'm totally obsessed with it (as expected). It shows
promise, but still needs work to be publically released.

So, it's almost inaccurate to call me a maintainer. Okuji has pulled
that load almost entirely by himself for a long time now. Last I
talked with him, he found it tiring, and is enjoying working on other
projects in Ruby (http://www.ruby-lang.org/).

So this means, if any of you are willing to help us with Grub
maintenance, please step forward!

I have to say that Grub has a track record of burning people out (that
is why I stepped forward in the first place to annex it from Erich
Boleyn). So, if you want to work with Grub, either know how to pace
yourself, or else be prepared to be overwhelmed.

[We now return you to your regularly scheduled discussion.]
