Hi:
After I compiled the Example OS code from
grub/docs, I copy the file (named "kernel") to a DOS
formats diskette, then I using grub (installed on my
hard disk's MBR and have a menu list). I use the
grub's command line environment, like this:
grub> root (fd0)
grub> kernel (fd0)/kernel
[Multiboot-kludge, loadaddr=0x100000,
text-and-data=0x628
Error 13: Invalid or unsupported executable format.
I also try to add a "--type=multiboot" argument, but
it get the same result.I don't know why and how can I
do?
By the way, I use grub 0.5.96.1, and I compiled the
Example OS code under RedHat Gnu/Linux 6.2. My gcc
version is 2.91.xx.
Thanks!
Regards,
Chiilirng Liour
