Details:
Invoking "groff -v" with an additional switch which should invoke a script,
e.g. 'chem', causes Groff to hang after displaying some roff directives,
instead of showing the banner of the script.
The reason is that groff.cpp doesn't add '-v' to the command lines of some of
the preprocessors.
Patch for Groff 1.22.4 is attached.
