current directory contains files:

a
b
c.c

2.54 behaviour:

"$ grep-2.5.4 --include=*.c foo *" excludes listed files that are not .c (ie:
searches only file c.c)

2.9 behaviour:

"$ grep-2.9 --include=*.c foo *" searches all listed files
