on that notem i can add that a few months back, there was some
discussion among the parabola devs about collaborating more
closely with gnuzilla to share patches, maintenance, and general
FSDG compliance discussions surrounding
icecat/iceweasel/abrowser - realizing that the patches and
feature set of these are all very similar and aiming primarily at
the same goal of being FSDG compliant; but that they are
maintained individually, which surely results in much redundant
efforts

this is probably an ideal time to try getting someone from guix,
gnewsense, and anyone else who routinely endures these pains to
collaborate upstream, hopefully reducing the workload on all
maintainers and getting all of these browsers released faster in
each distro
