I have to entirely agree with Mart on this, and it has always concerned me to the point that I will not install IceCat.1. In the browser there are no integrated add-ons ("https everythere", for example). See screenshot. Thanks, I reported this to https://gitlab.com/fdroid/fdroiddata/issues/1088I'd actually prefer IceCat to be clean of any add-ons, so that installing any would be up to the discretion of each user. Since IceCat is used mosty by expert users, then each has their own opinion about which add-on they want installed, and which they _do not_ want pre-installed. Pre-installing add-ons would be like distribution builders forcing them upon users. -M. 2018-01-15 3:57 GMT +02:00, David Hedlund <address@hidden>:On 2017-04-03 05:51, Денис Чернов wrote:Hi, I've installed icecat 45.7.0 from f-droid. 1. You cannot install some extensions, for example - "user agen switcher". It is downloaded, but not installed. The 'Get more Firefox Addons' button opens https://directory.fsf.org/wiki/IceCat (not all add-ons in there are IceCatMobile compatible) but it should be https://directory.fsf.org/wiki/IceCatMobile. I reported this to https://gitlab.com/fdroid/fdroiddata/issues/1085 I could install https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/downloads/latest/506646/addon-506646-latest.xpi from https://directory.fsf.org/wiki/Privacy_Badger3. You can't add search engine "duck duck go"I could add https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/duckduckgo-html/4. On the website www.vgae.ru not working likes - don't react on clicking. See screenshot.I don't have time to create an account to evaluate this.-- http://gnuzilla.gnu.org-- http://gnuzilla.gnu.org
Please provide IceCat out of the box, add-on free. Leave the choice of addons solely to the user. By all means provide a list of recommended Add-ons at your website.
Bye for now, BRN. :)P.S: My apologies to you Mart for sending my reply initially to your address rather than here.
