The issue was fixed in Firefox 56.0 (so its not affecting Abrowser 65.0 
-- the current package version in Trisquel)!

Conclusion: Firefox 53.0-55.0.3 (and Firefox-based browsers like 
Abrowswer) display white text on buttons and other elements which make 
them virtually useless as hitting the correct buttons is crucial in 
certain situations. Firefox ESR (and Firefox ESR-based browsers like 
IceCat) are not affected by this bug.
