Sorry for not being able to be of much help to you. The code version you
are using is rather old, one year now and we are just in the process of
making a new release.
>From looking at the header in question I would say that something in
broken with your zlib header files. This library got detected by
configure, but for some reason it is not fully usable. The best you can
do is have a look into zlib.h.
And if anything else fails, tell configure not to use that library.
