Not sure whether you are trying to compile the full base or just the
base Additions, which is more likely for an Apple platform.
Anyway you seem to be using an old version of GNUstep, telling from the
errors you get. preface.h no longer includes objc-gnu2next.h. It looks
like the whole file is gone, but I could not find a ChangeLog entry for
this.

What should be noted is that even the current GNUstep base Additions
wont compile on Snow Leopard, there already is a bug report for this.
#28307 in our bug database.
