Details:

Hello,

I've encountered some problems with the DO mechanism: Vending objects for
local DO seems to be just fine (the corresponding sockets and name-service
files are being created in $TMPDIR/NSMessagePort/(names|ports), but
-rootProxyForConnectionWithRegisteredName:host: returns nil no matter what. As
far as I can tell from stepping through the code, the client obtains the port
just well so it does not seem to be a name service problem. The problem does
not only occur on 64bit Linux but also on other platforms I could test on
(32bit Linux, 64bit FreeBSD) with svn r28670.

I have attached a test case (which works on Mac OS X) that demonstrates the
problem. Any help is greatly appreciated.

kind regards,

Niels
