Charles,

I just not built everything as non-debug on my P3/700 laptop running SuSE 9.3 w/ gcc 3.3.5.   It works fine.  Gorm comes up properly.

You may also want to check to see if the daemons are starting up correctly.  On some systems they don't.

I just did a clean install also, and the some thing happened- the
debug version works.

My base, gui and back (xlib) are built without debug.

Yes.

I am using GCC 3.3.3. Of course I did install GORM after compiling it.

Tried that, still no luck.

I thnk you should try building everything in no debug mode. Maybe you
can reproduce my problem.

Thanks.
