Details:

I'm using NSPortIsMessagePort YES. If an app is 'quit' by shutting the
machine down, or quiting the X session (closing the window manager). When the
machine is restart, and the app is restart. I will get this error:

rburns@marge ~ $ openapp Preferences
2005-11-01 09:51:17.000 Preferences[7012] unable to bind to
/tmp/GNUstepSecure1005/NSMessagePort/ports/7012.0 - Address already in use

I couldn't contact the notification server for local host -
so I'm attempting to to start one - which will take a few seconds.
Trying to launch gdnc from /System/Tools or a machine/operating-system
subdirectory.
It is recommended that you start the notification server (gdnc) either at
login or (better) when your computer is started up.

/tmp/GNUstepSecure1005/NSMessagePort/ports/7012.3 - Address already in use
recursion encountered handling uncaught exception
openapp: could not contact application: (null)

If apps are quit directly (by pressing the 'quit' menu item), this problem
does not occur
