The basic problem here is that apps are printing using screen fonts. There will 
always glitches when doing this, and the proper fix is to switch to printer 
fonts when printing. However, this particular problem (gaps every 16th 
character) should be worked around now (cvs roughly 2004-07-11), so I'm closing 
this bug.

Original Submission:  If this is the standard behaviour, it is ugly and 
inacceptable that the text breaks. please look at the atteched image.
