------------------ Additional Follow-up Comments ----------------------------
NSFontPanel was getting confused about where to send the -changeFont: message.
What's supposed to happen is that the latest terminal window is the main
window, the preferences panel is the key window, and the font panel is just
floating there, so when you click on 'Set', the message goes to the key window
(the preferences panel).

However, in many cases (focus/key/main window issues) the font panel would
become the key window when it's ordered in. Since neither the key window (now
the font panel) nor the main window (some terminal window) responds to
-changeFont:, nothing would happen.

I've fixed this (at least for now) by letting the preferences panel become the
main window. Fixed in Backbone/Terminal cvs.

As I cannot reprocude this problem with Ink.app I suspect that it si specific
to Terminal.app and therefore did change the category.
